What is cinewave?

Cinewave 2026 is a film festival being hosted in Chelmsford Theatre between 19th June and 2nd July. At Cinewave, we are not only dedicated to showcasing early releases of the most anticipated films of the year, but we also acknowledge the roots that we were built upon and dedicate awards to local and young talent. Packed full of daily events ranging from film screenings to Director Q&As, there is typically something for everyone, and you are bound to be in for a good time.
